Balloon Experiment #1

Aim
The aim of this "challenge" is to push a wooden skewer through an inflated party balloon without popping the balloon.

Equipment (Things You Need)
1x party balloon,  1x wooden skewer

Method  (What You Need to Do)
Blow up the balloon and tie a knot at the end.  Now try and push your wooden skewer through the balloon without popping the balloon!

Results (What Happened)
Most people burst their balloons.  Some people managed to get the skewer into the balloon without bursting it, but it was hard to get the skewer to go all the way through.  Max managed to do it without bursting the balloon.

Conclusion (how to have success)
What did Max do to be successful?  Highlight below to see.
Push the skewer into the balloon close to the knot where the rubber is not stretched too much.

Push the skewer out of the balloon at the top where the rubber has not stretched too much.  Be careful.  Hold the spot that you are pushing with your finger.  Slowly twist the skewer to push it through the rubber.
